                 When I go "through the valley of the shadow of death" I know You are with me.

God has not promised us a "rose garden." At any given moment, and on any given day, something tragic can happen. Such a thing happened to the Wooderson family on March 9, 1958. Dad was out of town for a revival meeting. The rest of the family was at a Sunday morning worship service in their home church. During the service a police officer walked into the sanctuary to talk to mom. He said my dad and his younger preacher friend were found unconscious. The hospital physician said dad and his younger preacher friend would have died if they had not been across the street from the hospital.

The only thing mom could do was pray. However, she knew the Great Physician was there to help her.
